At W.E. Pinder & Son, we pride ourselves on providing a bespoke service for all our customers. For almost 100 years, we have cared for bereaved families in and around our community, and that un rivalled level of experience gives us the ability to interpret and reflect the needs of those who approach us for help.

Limousines

The limousines we use are based on the Mercedes E240, which we feel provide an element of timeless elegance, coupled with German efficiency.

Coffins

Despite being a small, totally independent business, we are still able to offer an impressive range of traditional and contemporary coffins at reasonable prices.

Newspaper Notices

We will be pleased to help you compile both obituary notices and acknowledgements for local and national press. Since a number of papers will only accept such notices from a Funeral Director, it is advisable to allow us to handle all of them.

Flowers

We are able to organise flowers, working closely with experienced specialist florists in the area. We are happy to receive floral tributes sent to our premises prior to a funeral, of which a list will be made for your retention.

Printing

Should a printed Order of Service be required, this can easily be arranged. We have a substantial catalogue of styles to choose from, which can be provided on request.

Catering

If a buffet or meal is desired to follow the funeral, this can be easily arranged either within or out of your home.

Music

Music at a funeral is a way of making the service very personal, and can reflect more accurately than words the personality of the person who has passed away.

Recording of Services

We are happy to arrange for a funeral service to be recorded, and a USB memory stick produced for those who are unable to attend. Crematorium services can also be live streamed.

Keepsakes & Memorial Jewellery

For those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, memorial jewellery is becoming a popular choice for many of our families. We work closely with a number of keepsake specialists and we are happy to recommend, offer assistance with, and even source bespoke items to deliver a unique keepsake for you and your family to treasure.

Memorials

If a grave is re-opened, we will arrange for the removal of the memorial if necessary. If either an additional inscription or new memorial is required, we can arrange for you to choose from a vast range of both traditional and modern designs.
